Tha Drop Radio ("Tha Drop Radio", "we", "us") is a 24/7 internet radio station based in Las Vegas. This policy covers the Tha Drop Radio website (thadropradio.com) and the Tha Drop Radio iOS and Android apps.
Questions or requests about your data: info@thadropradio.com.
Account info — when you create a free member account: your display name, email address, and password. Passwords are hashed by our authentication provider; we never see or store them in plain text.
Artist onboarding — when you start an artist profile: your stage name, email address, phone number, city, genres, radio-interest answer, onboarding progress, and basic campaign attribution such as referral or UTM tags. This lets you resume signup and helps us understand which artist programs are useful.
Music submissions — when you submit music for airplay: artist name, track title, genre, an MP3 audio file, a contact email, a phone number, and any message you include.
Optional email preferences — if you actively choose artist opportunities and DROP Radio updates during onboarding or submission, we record the choice, timestamp, source, and consent-copy version and add your confirmed email to our marketing audience. Marketing permission is optional and never preselected.
Community activity — song requests (shown publicly in the live request feed with your display name), photo votes, and event RSVPs.
Usage data — basic engagement signals such as time listening, screens viewed, and taps (votes, RSVPs, ticket-link clicks). We use this to understand what members enjoy and to credit engagement. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
To run the station: operate member accounts, show the live request queue, count votes and RSVPs, and review music submissions (submissions are emailed to our A&R inbox and we may reply to the contact email you provide).
To communicate with artists: send a transactional receipt and submission-related updates. If you separately opt in, we may also send occasional artist opportunities and station marketing; every marketing message includes an unsubscribe or preference link.
A phone number provided during artist onboarding is used for account or submission-related contact. We do not treat providing a phone number as permission to send marketing texts.
To improve Tha Drop Radio: aggregate, de-identified usage statistics.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Your display name appears next to your song requests in the live request feed, which is visible to everyone using the app. Votes and RSVPs are shown only as anonymous totals. Your email address is never shown publicly.
We rely on a small set of processors to run the service: Supabase (accounts, database, private music-file storage, and submission consent records), Resend (transactional email and, only after opt-in, marketing audience and campaign delivery), Vercel (website and app hosting), and our streaming host for the live audio feed. Each receives only what it needs to provide its service.
Event ticket links open third-party ticketing sites that have their own privacy policies.
We keep your information while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time in the app: More menu → Delete Account. This erases your account, votes, RSVPs, song requests, and music submissions, and cannot be undone.
You can also visit thadropradio.com/delete-account or email info@thadropradio.com to request deletion or a copy of your data, and we will honor applicable rights under laws such as the CCPA and GDPR.
Tha Drop Radio streams music that may contain explicit lyrics and is intended for listeners 17 and older. The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them — if we learn we have, we will delete it.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. Continued use of Tha Drop Radio after a change means you accept the updated policy.
